Polish artist Oskar Dawicki, born on July 28, 1971, in Stargard, is a graduate of the Fine Arts Faculty at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Co-founder of the Azorro Supergroup, he has showcased his multimedia work at notable venues such as Zachęta, Manifesta Biennale, Postmasters Gallery in New York, and Warsaw Raster Gallery. His life and art are featured in the movie “Performer,” directed by Maciej Sobieszczański and Łukasz Ronduda, which premiered at Berlinale and earned the “THINK: FILM AWARD” at the Berlinale Film Festival. The film has been screened at prestigious locations like Tate Modern in London and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
