Forensic Architecture (FA) is a research agency based at Goldsmiths, University of London, specializing in the development and application of innovative methods to investigate state and corporate violence. Comprising a diverse team of architects, software developers, filmmakers, investigative journalists, scientists, and lawyers, FA operates at the intersection of human rights, journalism, architecture, art, academia, and law.
Recognized for its pioneering work, FA has been credited with co-creating “an entire new academic field and emergent media practice” by the Peabody Awards in 2022. In 2024, the European Research Council hailed FA as a “scientific breakthrough,” noting its revolutionary contributions that have transformed existing paradigms and opened new streams of research.
