Agnieszka Polska, born in 1985 in Lublin, Poland, is an artist working with computer-generated media to explore the personal and societal responsibilities of individuals. Her aim is to translate the ethical complexities of our era into immersive films and installations that evoke a hallucinatory quality. Polska’s artworks have been showcased on an international scale, exhibited at renowned venues such as the New Museum and MoMA in New York, Centre Pompidou and Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Tate Modern in London, Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, DC, and Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin. She also participated in major events like the 57th Venice Biennale, 11th Gwangju Biennale, 19th Biennale of Sydney, and 13th Istanbul Biennial. In recognition of her achievements, she received the German Preis der Nationalgalerie in 2018.
