ASI is a research platform at the intersection of art and communication, founded by artists Anna Titova and Stanislav Shuripa. The first phase of the Agency’s work (which will continue until 2017) includes regular discussions, exhibitions, and performances that ASR organizes in collaboration with like-minded artists. These events take place in a space located within the Moscow Center for Creative Industries “FABRIKA.” ASR’s goal is to study the current trends in society and art by carefully examining communication media and similar spheres, where the “tense interaction between reality and imagination can influence the exchange between the past and the present,” as stated in the Agency’s statement of public mission, signed by its two members. In accordance with this mission, ASR organizes an exhibition showcasing the results of the Clepsydra Corporation’s research, which deals with the management of the flow of time. The main task of this institution is to reverse social time, which is easiest to achieve through systematic reproduction of models from the past. Visitors are presented with various objects, gadgets, instructions, and safety costumes that allow clients to manipulate time, wherever they may be.8
